Knowing Jesus Christ as the Lord and Saviour is having all things in life. 

 

What echoes from the Gospel of Jesus Christ is not only the demand for all humanity to repent but also God’s fair goodness and unconditional love. In saying this, His undeniable compassion drives us to turn away from our sins and believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only Lord and Saviour. 

 

In His divine plan, 2000 years ago God’s word walked the earth as the Son of Man, named Jesus Christ. In this plan, He would be afflicted to death on the cross as a sacrificial lamb for the remission of the sins of the world. Crucified so that He would be raised to life, ascend into heaven, sit at the right hand of the Father and be called the Son of God. Ultimately, so in the name of Jesus Christ all humanity may be justified and have everlasting life with Him. 

 

This faith and eternal destiny lies in each person’s hands and relies on their own response to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Despite being born as sinners and have committed any of kind of sin such as adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outburst of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murder, drunkenness, revelries and alike, the most comforting message is that the Gospel of Jesus Christ offers forgiveness to obtain everlasting life. 

 

Additionally, to those who are saved and rest under God’s gospel, the covenant promises that they shall also receive the gift of the Holy Spirit so they can be guided, taught, motivated and convicted into the newness of life. 

 

Finally it is written, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new,” 2 Corinthians 5:17. 

 

Therefore, not knowing Jesus Christ as the Lord and Saviour is not having anything in life.
